VOMO Rugby 7s — Game Day Update
The VOMO boys are back on the field today at the Vuda Sydney 7s!
They’ll face Blacktown Brothers in the Men’s Shield Semi Final at 12:45 pm (Sydney time).
If they take the win, they’ll play again in the Shield Final at 3:00 pm.
Let’s cheer them on from the island and beyond.

The island spirit is hitting the field this weekend as the VOMO Rugby 7s team heads to the Vuda Sydney 7s Tournament. First game in one hour from now!
What a moment for our players to represent the island, our community, and everyone who’s helped them get there. To all our guests and friends who’ve supported their journey — Vinaka Vakalevu.
If you’re interested in following along, here’s the draw thus far.
The Draw — Pool 2
Friday, October 17, is game day for the boys, with four pool matches lined up:
- 9:30am: vs Nationwide Nadi 7s
- 2:15pm: vs Roache Global 7s Academy
- 4:15pm: vs Bula Brothers Fiji
- 7:15pm: vs Duiyanasna Rugby Club NT
Their performance on Day 1 decides the road ahead — and if results go our way, Saturday brings the big stage.
- Finals Day — Saturday, October 18
- Quarter Finals: 11:15am or 12:00pm
- Semi Finals: 2:30pm or 2:45pm
- Grand Final: 4:00pm
The tournament is fast, physical, and packed with Fiji’s trademark flair. Expect big tackles, fast breaks, and plenty of heart from the VOMO boys as they chase every point and play with true island pride.
