- Simpson2408Stunning Absolutely amazing. Sets the bar for all other family holidays and caters exquisitely to the whole family. My kids are already bartering that all they want for birthday and Christmas presents is to return. Must shout out the amazing ocean play team and especially vili for the connections they made with my kids and their willingness to interact and make their days playing rugby and learning about turtles. Loved it is an understatement. - 01/10/23read moreread less
- Tracey CPerfect. Our fifth time there and all is well with the world! This place just continues to deliver in every way. Consistently excellent every time. Food, rooms, service, beaches, swimming pools, water sports facilities, spa, location, snorkling and diving in stunning clear water over the reefs which are right out the front. Heaven. Even the coffee is perfect. Everything absolutely spot on. Can't wait to return. - 01/12/22read moreread less
- LBurfo63Wow, The most beautiful island with beautiful people We stayed at the palms which was such a treat, the views, food, tours snorkelling which was complimentary, and the trip out to white rock was fabulous. The staff are fantastic and friendly and attentive. Bulllla.
Our waiter and friend Nicky was so accommodating, professional, kind and great to be with. The island is magnificent you can do as little or as much as you wish. we climbed mt vomo, walked the island, snorkelled, swam in our pool, the food was fantastic and generous. I could not fault anything on this island it was amazing and I did not want to go home. shout out to Karen Marvall and Vani for their patience as this trip was booked originally in 2020 and we arrived april 2022. Vinaka - 03/05/22read moreread less - joejellyStop reading this review and book Vomo! We just returned from 7 nights at Vomo Island with 5 adults and 2 children and had the such a magical time. Vomo is the perfect size island which is big enough to wander and get “lost” on some of the treks and also have an entire picture perfect sandy beach to yourself. You are never truly alone as there is always the amazing stuff who happily great your with a hearty Bula, ask if you want a lift in the Bula Bus or give you some tips on where to snorkel off the beach. The house reef is great and if you want there is a daily snorkel tour that really shows off the beautiful surrounding corals - unlike some resorts off the mainland the coral is thriving here! Accommodations are perfect - if you have enough people definitely look at the residences as it comes with it’s own - 01/12/22read moreread less

- jharnish03So great we are going back again 1 year later Pros: Our hillside room had a great view of the ocean and Little Vomo off to the side. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The patio was roomy with a luxurious 2 person couch with many pillows and when I requested another lounge chair as we were 3 people they brought it up the hill for me. Their service was always fantastic and we were treated like we were very special guest. Every person was cheerful and smiling and would do what they could to make us happy. We arrived before 10 am and they invited us to have a full breakfast while we waited for our room to be made ready. The food was plentiful and mostly fabulous. The breakfasts were superb with a cold room buffet that varied a little and included cold cuts such as prosciutto and smoked salmon (lox) and assorted nuts /dried fruits to mix as you please including macadamia nuts (which looked like peanuts). You also could order from a breakfast menu which had many tasty choices. Coffee service is very slow but is very good made from a restaurant espresso machine. Every lunch and dinner had a choice of appetizer, a choice of main, and a choice of dessert. The dessert choices always included a "pastry" and a flavor of ice cream and of sorbet. The coconut sorbet was the creamiest, fluffiest, tastiest "ice cream" ever. The Wednesday cold room all you could eat desserts was a nice surprise though if we had been told about it in advance we would have had a lighter lunch to better enjoy the large selection of desserts, many of which had not been on the menu. There I tried the rainbow colored (kids?) pound cake which was very buttery and moist. Lunch was greatly enhanced by the surroundings -- eating on the sand next to the beautiful aquamarine and turquoise ocean under the shade of palm trees was fabulous. The Fiji night dinner was very good. All meals included free soft drinks and we could get soft drinks from the bar any time. The trip to Little Vomo is well worth doing. You have a private island for a few hours with linen covered eating table to have the picnic lunch, cushioned chaise lounge chairs and there is even a secluded "tree house" with cushioned chaise lounge chairs. The daily snorkel trips are great as is snorkeling right from the beach. The Rocks bar is great although it should have open hours through sunset every night. Walking back on the path lit by tiki torches is fun and much better than the minivan which they always offered.
Vomo Cons:
Food that was spicy though not marked as spicy on the menu such as Thai style dishes.
Not knowing the menu until the meal. It would have been nice if they posted the lunch and dinner menu for the day at breakfast time so people who are pickier eaters could plan their food for the day.
When arriving by ferry or seaplane you have to step from the transfer boat into the shallow water. There is no pier. It would be nice if they at least had a gangplank that could be put from the bow of the transfer boat to dry sand for arrivals to walk across who may not have dressed for getting their feet/lower legs wet.
Overall Vomo is my favorite South Pacific island over others (Moorea, Bora Bora, Tikehau, Roratonga, Autitauki) that I have been to. - 22/08/19read moreread less - Olga KPARADISE It's been 3 months since we were at Vomo and not a week goes by without us reminiscing how perfect our stay was... We loved everything about Vomo and even though we had huge expectations going there, Vomo beat them on every score.
The island is MAGICAL - turquoise water, lush gardens, exotic flowers, wild fruit.. you name it! The island is huge and private, we spent days (and nights!) exploring it and we found something extraordinary every single day! We also had a blast exploring the beautiful underwater world of Vomo - Vomo's Ocean Play crew took us to different snorkerling spots every day to show us Vomo's rich fauna and flora!! I think something we didn't appreciate until we were there was that Vomo owns the entire island - so if it's windy on one side of the island the opposite side of the island has no waves... so you can snorkel every single day!
The food was divine - the menu was changed daily... and offers something for everyone - we wish we could eat it all. The produce was fresh, the flavours were punchy and the menus were interesting. I highly recommend giving the Rocks a try too! We loved the South East Asian-inspired menu which was perfect for the hot weather!
We had a hillside villa - because the beachfront villas were sold out.. and we couldnt be happier! the views were amazing from our villa, which was spacious and tastefully furnished.
We would also like to recognize and thank each and everyone at Vomo – including those amazing people who work behind the scenes and whom we never got to meet and thank in person – you made our stay special and magical. Everyone at Vomo is kind and generous and went above and beyond to make our stay and my 30th birthday unforgettable. we are forever grateful. See you next year! - 07/10/19read moreread less - BHCJHQuality time away from it all Justin, Jason and the entire Vomo team make an incredible holiday experience to remember. As a family we have been to Fiji many times staying at various resorts but Vomo is easily the pick of the bunch. The beaches, coral and fish are nothing short of spectacular, with a very good dive team for scuba enthusiasts. The daily free guided snorkeling tour is a must. The food at the resort for both Adults and kids is excellent, certainly more creative and interesting than other Fijian resorts with quality choices aplenty. All non alcohol beverages are included which is a massive plus (mocktails and smoothies are so good) and high end coffee was unexpected but so welcomed. Our room was very well appointed, comfy beds and right on the beach, we have 3 boys and we all had plenty of space in the one bure. For kids - Vomo delivers, kids club is split on age which gives them a better experience in terms of activities and engagement. The ocean team have a great focus on knowledge and education and my kids particularly loved the turtle program. Having a marine biologist on hand was pretty cool. For adults - the highlight is the adult pool which is strictly for adults unlike some other Fijian resorts i have been to, the adjoining restaurant and bar is next level and the view is simply breathtaking - the food and sunset drinks is incredible and not to be missed. Vomo are very clever in finding separation between Adults and kids so you can get your own time when you want it. It is honestly pretty hard to fault the place, despite the resort being full it never felt even remotely crowded. The one thing i loved the most about Vomo is the space, gardens and beaches. Scattered throughout the islands are little nooks with hamocks, day beds in which you can really immerse yourself and escape the everyday. - 01/10/23read moreread less

- Donna WLove Love Love We stayed in The Palms residence and it was absolutely amazing. We were a family of 6 adults and 1 toddler for my 60th birthday. It was brilliant from start to finish. The residences come with a 'butler' - wasn't sure what to expect - certainly did not imagine a lovely man (Semi) there from daylight until dark every day to organise our whole life. Not sure if we will be able to holiday without a butler ever again!! The island is beyond what we were expecting. Food was top shelf every meal. We had 3 vegetarians in our group and they were really helpful with our meals (inform them before arriving). The Rocks adults only section was absolutely marvellous. Both sides of the island has wonderful beaches. The daily snorkelling trips were very enjoyable. We did the picnic - 01/03/23read moreread less
