What it is
Vapor Jets are electric, pump-jet sea scooters designed for smooth, controlled exploration above reefs or slightly deeper waters. Their enclosed jet system provides strong thrust with low noise and minimal turbulence, making them well-suited to VOMO’s calm, clear lagoons.
Key features (the tech that makes it special)
- Powerful, compact performance. Reaches speeds up to 10 km/h with three selectable modes—ideal for both beginners and experienced swimmers.
- Smart depth management. Onboard alerts for depth and speed help keep descents and ascents comfortable. Rated for depths to 40 m with certified divers. Ocean Play sessions remain at snorkelling depths unless otherwise arranged.
- High-thrust pump-jet. Delivers 21 kgf (210 N) of thrust via the miniaturised ALO 2.0 jet system for steady, responsive maneuvering.
Clear onboard display. Large screen shows speed, battery, heading, water temperature, and depth at a glance. - All-day friendly battery. Operates up to 60 minutes per charge. Fast-charging spare batteries are available to extend playtime.
- Ocean-friendly by design. The enclosed pump-jet significantly reduces water disturbance and noise compared to traditional exposed propellers.

Good to know (safety & participation)
- You must be a very confident swimmer and follow staff instructions at all times for safety.
- Your participation is at the discretion of Ocean Play staff.
- Not suitable for anyone with exertion or pressure-related health conditions. If in doubt, seek medical advice.
- Please avoid contact with coral, marine life, and keep fins and devices clear of the reef.
What to bring
Bring swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, a recommended rash vest, and a sense of adventure.
Availability and Pricing
This is a new activity on VOMO. Daily sessions will soon be available from Ocean Play, depending on weather and sea conditions. To book, visit the Ocean Play team on the beach or speak with your butler. Spots are limited in each session, so booking early is recommended. Session lengths and prices vary by group and battery life. Please check with Ocean Play or your butler for current options and to reserve your session.

The enclosed pump-jet design and low noise profile of Vapor Jets support considerate reef exploration. Guides will provide best-practice reef etiquette at every session.
