VOMO can be reached by helicopter or boat.
VOMO is located between the Mamanuca and Yasawa group of islands, just 15 minutes by air or just over 30 minutes by boat from the mainland. We’ll assist you in arranging reservations for your transfers to and from the island, to suit your itinerary.

Speedboat Transfers
VOMO operates fast speedboat transfers on a charter basis between Vuda Point Marina and Vomo Island or vice versa. Vuda Point Marina is located just 20 minutes’ drive from Nadi International Airport. The comfortable and fast boat ride to VOMO takes approximately 35 minutes, enabling guests to be on the island in around an hour after departing the airport.
The vessel can carry up to 20 passengers plus luggage and is fitted with GPS navigation, a VHF radio, safety equipment, and life jackets as per Marine and Safety Authority Fiji requirements.
Vomo Transfers can operate on a pre-booked charter basis between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. daily and can accommodate all flights.

Car transfers between Nadi airport and Vuda marina or vice versa to connect with speedboat transfers are included for Island Blu passengers. Email res@vomo.com.fj for further details.
Air Transfers to VOMO
Helicopter transfers depart from Nadi International Airport or Denarau Island to VOMO. They operate during daylight hours on a charter basis to suit your arrival time, based on a minimum of two people travelling. The flight time is approximately 15 minutes. Helicopters can seat up to 6 people. The luggage limit of 15kg per person applies, plus hand luggage.
- Adult (min. 2 per flight): $840 (one way)
- Child (2-12 years): $588 (one way)
- Infants: Free under 2 years
- VALIDITY from 20 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 and subject to change beyond April 2025.
NOTE: These rates are one-way as specified and are subject to change without prior notice. A minimum of 2 adults are charged per flight sector. The luggage allowance is 15kg per adult, plus small hand luggage. If excess luggage exceeds the helicopter capacity limit, it will be placed on the next available flight.
Children Travellers…
- Infants/children fares: 70% for children aged 24 months to 12 years.
- Infants (0-23 months): Free if sitting on an adult’s lap (no baggage allowance).
- Children (24 months – 12 years): Charged at 70% of adult fare.
- 13 years and above: Charged as an adult.
Sea Ferry Transfers
South Sea Cruises departs Denarau Marina daily at 8.30 am with a scheduled ferry service by fast passenger catamaran. The journey is approximately 75 minutes to nearby VOMO, where you will be met by a small VOMO boat and transferred to the island. The return daily service departs VOMO daily every afternoon at around 4.30 pm—rates from FJD$265 per adult one way and $172 per child 2 to 15 years inclusive. Rates and timetables subject to change.
