There’s always a heady atmosphere when the ocean breathes at day’s end. The last sunlight shimmers on the reef. Breezes become a little cooler—it’s your signal to start paddling home, just in time for sunset.

At Reef House, you are welcomed nightly with light dancing on water, laughter in the breeze, and an indoor-outdoor space designed for every guest to feel free.

Everything here is created to help you experience connection and belonging. Here, time slows, horizons open, and life reveals itself as it was meant to be lived — with presence, ease, and quiet wonder.

Set along 100 metres of VOMO’s north-shore beachfront, Reef House is our largest private residence. It accommodates up to 10 guests as standard, with the option to accommodate larger groups (up to 16-18 when sharing rooms) upon request. The residence offers five king bedrooms, six bathrooms, and an easy indoor–outdoor rhythm anchored by a 25-metre infinity pool.

Why Reef House works perfectly for multigenerational families seeking calm and connection

This luxury island residence accommodates up to 10 guests of any age, with all meals and non-alcoholic beverages included, plus villa concierge/butler service (7am–11pm) and daily wash-and-fold laundry. With additional bedding in select rooms, larger groups can be accommodated on request (typically up to +6-8 when sharing). We’ll tailor sleep setups so cousins stay close and early risers get their quiet.

Your Butler becomes the keeper of your family’s easy holiday flow—quietly present, always proactive. All-knowing.

• Ocean play, sorted. Your butler can organise your ocean play for the day. From paddleboards at sunrise to a mid-morning snorkel safari, sailing after lunch, and kayaks ready at golden hour—everything appears when you’re ready, right at your beachfront doorstep.
• Village touring and culture. A guided village visit, a meke rhythm lesson for the kids at the kids’ club, or something as simple as learning a few Fijian phrases. Your butler schedules it, shares the stories behind it, and times it around naps and needs.
• Mt VOMO sunrise yoga. Choose daily sunrise stretches or a private yoga session atop Mt VOMO or anywhere you please. In conjunction with our Wellness Manager, your butler arranges mats, water and an effortless start to the day with views that reset everyone’s perspective. • Activities and adventures. Tennis courts booked, spa times held, castaway picnics set, little ones’ meals aligned to their routines, your favourite mocktail waiting by the pool—consider it done.
• Evenings, elevated – and out of this world. Dinner requirements discussed in the morning, table set under the palms by dusk, candles catching the breeze as someone paddles home across the reef.

Thoughtfully planned for families of all ages…

• Kids Club joy and laughter. When the little ones feel like big adventure, our supervised kids program becomes their island village—crafts, reef discoveries, games on the lawn, and new friends by lunchtime. With the help of our designated Baby Butlers, your Reef House Butler will coordinate drop-off and pick-up, monitor preferences and nap windows, and ensure siblings land in the same activities if they wish.
• Adults-only time at The Rocks. When Kids Club is in session, parents are “sent” to time out—in the best possible way. Your butler secures a shady daybed or a front-row sunset table at The Rocks, our adults-only sanctuary for swims, long lunches, and golden-hour cocktails. Return to The Reef House smiling, reset, and ready for family stories.

A suggested flow for multigenerational joy. Mix up the days as needed.

Day 1 — Arrive & Breathe Easy

Your butler meets you at the helipad or the beach, depending on your way of arrival, unpacks your essentials, chills the sunset drinks, and cues a leisurely dinner at The Rocks. Early night for all, with the ocean your lullaby soundtrack.

Day 2 — Sunrise Yoga, Reef & Rhythm

Sunrise yoga – a private session in The Reef House or atop Mt. VOMO. Time to dive into the underwater wonders at your beachfront doorstep. Morning snorkel safari arranged. Kid-size masks appear like magic. After lunch, SUPs and kayaks are set on the sand. Sunset paddle “home,” towels and a warm smile waiting.

Day 3 — Ways to work out, indulge in wellness, whilst still indulging in culinary wonders

Court times booked for tennis; pitch-and-putt clubs delivered for the grandparents’ friendly bragging rights. Spa treatments. Mountain treks across Mt. Vomo. Chef-grill dinner at the residence (prepped and plated by your butler’s team).

Day 4 — Culture & Connection

Kids head to Kids Club for crafts and garden games; your butler escorts you to The Rocks for a quiet coffee and an oceanside swim—official parental “time out.” Reunite for gelato and a family swim.

Day 5 — Dawn on Mt VOMO

Private sunrise yoga atop Mt VOMO arranged by your butler—mats, water, gentle pace. Drift into a late breakfast and a slow afternoon by the pool. Golden-hour paddle to close the day.

Day 6 — Choose-Your-Own Ocean Play

Spectacular Dive adventures. Swim with our friendly neighbourhood sharks—sailing lesson for two, kayaks for four, and a lazy book-and-nap window for the rest. A gelato detour is arranged on your walk back along the oceanfront.

Day 7 — VOMO Lailai Picnic

Cast away to VOMO LaiLai for your private picnic—shade, chilled fruit, sparkling water, snorkel sets and sand toys all booked by your butler. Return for afternoon naps and a twilight swim.

Day 8 — Perspective Day

Sunrise hike or a second Mt VOMO yoga session. Afternoon spa times are staggered, so someone’s always with the little ones sleeping or escape for a family adult-only luncheon and allow our Baby Butlers to provide the kids entertainment for the afternoon. Movie night arranged indoors with mocktails and popcorn.

Day 9 — Special Occasion. A Night to Remember.

Your butler curates a family celebration—birthday, reunion, or “just because.” Expect island-elegant tablescape, favourite dishes, a custom cake, a live serenader and guitarist if you’d like, and a surprise finale – lanterns and a private toast under a coral-pink sky. Kids Club farewell your little ones – you sneak another sunset at The Rocks before dinner.

Day 10 — Slow Goodbye

One last paddle along the reef. One last trek to Eastern beach to take in all this glorious island has to offer. Bags whisked away, keepsake photos snapped one final time, a heartfelt farewell sung by VOMO staff and transfers timed without a ripple.
