Our efforts towards reducing single-use plastic bottles are exemplified by our water bottling plant and the adoption of E Water chemical-free cleaning solutions. This step significantly diminishes our reliance on disposable plastic and fosters a cleaner, healthier environment.

Efficient Water Management
With greywater collection and recycling systems in place, we actively reuse water resources, ensuring responsible and efficient usage throughout the resort.

Local Produce Cultivation
While limited, our commitment to sustainability extends to growing our own produce on the island, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions associated with transportation.

Innovative Solutions

Bio-Digester: LFC300 by Powerknot – California
Our advanced bio-digester efficiently processes up to 900kg of food waste daily, transforming it into a liquid that feeds into our septic system. This recycled waste further nurtures our golf course greenery.

Glass Crusher & Box Bailer
Our investments in the GC100T Glass Crusher and 2205 Bailer by Mil-tek from New Zealand reduce glass and cardboard volumes, minimising transport needs and aiding in efficient waste management.

Comprehensive Recycling
We meticulously store plastic, aluminum cans, and tin cans on-site, sending them back to the mainland in bulker bags for ethical processing by Waste Recyclers Fiji. This approach optimizes transportation and supports responsible recycling practices in New Zealand.

Supporting Local Communities
Our commitment extends beyond the island. We donate un-crushed local beer bottles to the Pacific Recycling Foundation, benefiting communities near landfill sites.
