Our festive season has begun with the lighting of the flame tree. What a joyous night.

3 December marked a beautiful start to the festive season on VOMO. The lighting of the Christmas flame tree coincided with Cultural Night, bringing guests and our team together poolside for an easy evening of music, colour and connection.

From the first photos, you’ll see families and friends seated by the water, frangipani tucked behind ears and big smiles all round. Our team welcomed everyone in bright island shirts and tropical florals, glasses ready — a relaxed prelude to the night.

Our cultural performances set the rhythm. Dancers in traditional dress sang with energy, with harmonies carrying across the pool. Guests joined from their seats, cameras at the ready. The atmosphere was warm, informal and very VOMO — plenty of laughter between songs.

As dusk deepened, the Christmas flame tree was lit. Wrapped in soft fairy lights, it became the backdrop for more photos and a few quiet toasts. See a small collection of images below. Music, movement, easy conversations and a gentle glow to start our joyful journey into our festive season.
