Already, there’s a joyful feeling of anticipation on the island as 2025 slowly subsides. Rest assured, unlike what you may be seeing commercially at home, the only decorations thus far are the pretty green and gold palm fronds, soft lights, and a horizon that already glows like Rudolph’s nose.

While the world is still warming up to the season, VOMO is already stepping gently into it, shaping December into something truly special. Only a few sleeps left before we start our uniquely VOMO month-long events and celebrate our special way of life. Vinaka!

This year’s festive programme flows from the first sparkle of the flame tree on 3 December, through nights filled with song, shared feasts, and gatherings on the sand — all the way to a New Year’s Eve celebration that drifts through imaginative worlds of colour, rhythm, and wonder.

Guests will be treated to island traditions that feel both familiar and new. You can expect carols dancing through ocean breezes, Christmas feasts with flavours from near and far, sunset soirées, oceanside play, and days that slow to the island’s natural tempo.

The season culminates in Paradise, Unbound — VOMO’s signature New Year’s Eve experience — a night that moves to its own playful rhythm, guiding guests from one beautifully crafted setting to the next, culminating in fireworks rising over Yasawa Beach at midnight.

From the glow of December to the first sunrise of 2026, this is VOMO’s way of celebrating – with care, imagination, and a sense of freedom woven through every moment.
