Just desserts in September for our US guests
In the United States, it’s National Honey Month, and our talented pastry chef Pritesh Sawant has produced some truly beautiful desserts for our US guests.
The honey used is local and supplied by one of our staff members Pranil – from his family farm. The honey is made from native Fijian bees and is rich and delicious with a distinctive taste. It makes for the perfect dessert sweetener.
Two desserts were created to celebrate “Honey Month”. The month-long celebration marks the importance of beekeepers, bees and honey in general as a beautiful natural sweetener.
Chef Pritesh has come up with the following. And yes, they taste as good as they look.
- Vanilla Honey Caramel Panacotta with Poppy Seed Snap, Almond Honey Granola and Honey Caramel
- Coconut Honey slice with Oat and Honey Bar, Vanilla Tuille, Freeze Dried Raspberries and Honey Vanilla Meringues
