VOMO Church

Our New Church Doors Are Open. And Open to All

The VOMO family recently celebrated the inauguration of the Ratu Eparama K Tavaiqia Church, nestled beside our VOMO staff village next to the track up to Mt. VOMO.

Brought to life through the generous support of VOMO’s Board of Directors, this beautiful new chapel seats up to 100 and offers a serene space for reflection for staff and guests alike.

We were honoured to welcome Ratu Eparama K Tavaiqia—Tui Vuda of Vaiseisei Village—whose ties to VOMO reach back to the resort’s earliest days when he helped clear the island and later tended its landscapes for over a decade. His blessing, alongside that of Reverend Iliapi Tuiwai and his family, gifted the opening service with a sense of sacred continuity between our island’s heritage and its future.

Joining Ratu Eparama and Reverend Tuiwai were VOMO owners Mark & Rachel Ching, Chris & Nicola Alpe, and the board, whose collective investment made this vision possible. We were also excited to host Fijian rugby legend Waisale Serevi (Toso Fiji Toso!) and to see so many former and current staff members come together for this special occasion.

We invite you to attend a church service at VOMO. Also open to weddings and renewal of vows.

There is nothing more sacred or more beautiful than moments experiencing a Fijian church service. Ethereal sounds of the choir fill the air during every beautiful service.

The Ratu Eparama K Tavaiqia Church will hold weekly services every Sunday at 5:30 pm, and we warmly invite all VOMO guests to join us. Whether you wish to reflect, to sing, or to experience the deep-rooted spirit of Fijian worship, there is a place here for every heart.

Vinaka vakalevu to everyone who helped bring this sacred space to life—we look forward to sharing it with you on your next island escape.

The opening of our church coincided with the exciting opening of our newest luxury residence – Totoka. Ready to book online now
